MS did have them beat at showing trailers and games even if they were only already-announced games, though. All those stupid news montages from Nintendo, bleh.

I stick by my D- for MS and C- for Nintendo, they both sucked really. Andir, WiiFit actually looks pretty cool if you watched the demonstration and trailers for it, mostly 'cause of the funky board.

So far I'm 2/2 on my prediction on there being at nothing at E3 particularly surprising or exciting. the KZ2 demo comes closest. we'll see what else Sony has in store for us, they've got an easy lay-up to steal the show entirely now.

E3 is as much about business as anything else. They kicked out all the booth babes and 'gamers' this year because they business people didn't like it.

 Exactly my thoughts. I wonder if sony is actually gonna do a good one. lol

And for those of you saying the Wii Board is amazing hardware, I cant recall where I saw it before, but it's a pressure plate. They've been around for about 30-40 years. IT's great implementation of old stuff. But it's not high tech, or new. Just dont in a somewhat new way.

Nothing earth shattering, but a new Mario Kart and release dates for the big three this year at least gave us something. I'm legitimately interested in Wii Fit and I don't really know why. Can't wait for 3rd party announcements.

I don't think I like this new E3. And if there was ever an opportunity for Sony to really shine, this is it.



Current systems owned: Wii, 360. I'll get a PS3 when hell freezes over!... or when the price drops to a reasonable level. Whichever comes first.

Sony press conference tomorrow at 8.30 PM CET tomorrow (= for example, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands), UK = 7.30PM

Kwaad.. stop ranting, gamers are NOT even invited, only press is allowed to be there, that was last year, not this year anymore.

Exactly, E3 isn't about the gamers, if you notice Gamers aren't even invited for the most part, its a press conference, and Wii fit will get a lot of press


Exactly! I almost bounced on the floor of surprise when Miyamoto came up with the WII Fit Board... if this ain't hot news for the press then I don't know what it is...


I completely agree.  it WAS entertaining, very entertaining in fact.  My issue with it is there wasn't much new anounced.

The fact you guys are kinda iffy and reserve... Really makes me think nintendo failed to do what you are meant to do at E3. Impress, amaze, and entertain.

If Sony takes home E3, I think sony might be able to win this one agian, becuase sales will skyrocket. G4TV is talking about Halo3 and Killzone2 still. Their already over Nintendo. LOL

 Casuals don't watch E3, but they do listen to the news and the News will be talking about Wii fit
