Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Well a lot of DLP televisions state that they are 3D ready but most people are into LCD and Plasmas and overlook DLP. So unless there is substantial explosion in the amount of TVs that can support it then i don't think it will be soon. I mean just HD is lost on most consumers especially with the lack of HD programming. Currently there is practically no 3D content on TV. 3D is about to see an upsurge next year with Real D due to much more movies being filmed in 3D because of the amount of theaters converting to new digital projection but as of now TVs are only capable of producing 3D with the decades old red/blue tech, which is widely considered to be a gimmick. So unless game consoles can come up with a revolutionary new advanced tech that can be displayed on most current TVs already in US households i doubt it will happen any time soon.

Wow someone actually atempted to answer. I was gonna be an ass and say when you buy an Imax theater and attach it to the back of your house.

Imax? Not likely... though AMD just recently showed off it's holographic tech that looks pretty good.
Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.
