Does anyone think that Tales of Vesperia may bring life back to the 360 in Japan like Monster Hunter 2nd Gen has brought life back into the PSP?

I think so.

No because the PSP did well in Japan before Monster Hunter. Also Monster Hunter wasn't the only reason why the PSP got a boost in Japan. And Tales of Symphonia didn't do it for the GC so why would Vesperia do it for the 360? There are just too many reasons why it won't be like MOnster Hunter was to the PSP.

Oh and isn't this a little late to ask? Sales already went back to normal after Tales of Vesperia's release.

Not to mention it's selling signifficantly less than other console Tales games, including the spinoff game on Wii.

 There's something called "Legs" that might be the deciding factor.

Well it has been 4 weeks now, and sales show a decline in Japan, not much legs. Actually ToS:DoTNW had much better legs and it is a spinoff as Naznatips mentioned. Tales games never had legs anyway.

It won't fully revive it, but its done significantly well for a 360 game in Japan. Just read the sig.

You can't expect the 360 to suddenly become big overnight by one awesome game. Legs may reappear as consoles become more readily available.

No.  360 needs more than one game to be revived.  hell needs more than games haha.

Wait, the new TOS game is a spinoff? I don't know much about the series but I thought it was a main game like the TOS was for GC, or was that TOS game a spinoff too?

What the hell constitutes as a spinoff anyways? =P There's way too many Tales games to begin with.
