Note: This is all opinion and I hope those who reply take that into consideration before they surely flame me to hell. Also this is in the Sony forum because I'm talking about the first game of the series.

I personally can't understand the praise that this game gets. I think that it's one of the most overrated games ever made. I bought it a few months ago after a couple of my friends talked it up to me about how amazing it was. Needless to say, I hated it. The only thing that kept me playing (I got up to the Hallow Bastion) was the inclusion of Disney. Nostagia is all this game has going for it. The battle system is a mashfest with small breaks for magic or healing before continuing the mashfest, and the characters are unbelievably shallow, and I can't stop thinking that if this game has the "Disney" stripped from it, it would be rated as a mediocre ARPG with a few Final Fantasy cameos, and a terrible story.

But hey, I thought Blue Dragon and Final Fantasy XII were amazing, so maybe I don't know a good game when I see one!!

I want to congratulate you on creating what will most likely be the longest thread this forum has ever seen. Kudos for having the will to state openly you dislike a game despite the presence of an unhealthy number of rabid fanboys that will hound you until you eventually create a new account.

Completely agree. Plus, has anyone actually used magic that wasn't heal in that game? All I did was continuously press the attack button.

 I normally would but i'm in the middle of doing my homework sorry.

The characters are NOT shallow. The story is very interesting if a little confusing at times. And the gameplay, while there are still a few minor flaws, is very fun. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Why does kingdom hearts get so big on these forums?

Ever since I started babbling about how good it was( a year ago), its been nothing but KINGDOM HEARTS!!!, I remember when me and soriku had a war on whether or not KH3 is coming to the wii to the ps3, ahh good times.

You might want to dig an escape route very quick!

That's the problem with Action RPGs in general.
