Sorry for the sarcasm, but that was me trying to sum up the retarded comments in this thread. I support you. I would buy this raffle (but only 1 for 10$). It isn`t such a bad deal, for someone that makes more than 10 bucks per hour. I would waste much more than 1-2 hours looking for a Wii on my free time. I would probably waste more than 20$ in gas, phone calls or bribes trying to get a Wii (with chances lower than 2%).
Just one tip: don`t get too greedy. 20$ for Wii is a little expensive, 25 for the xbox is a bad deal (it is not as rare as the Wii, so the perceived value may be lower).

1) personal raffle are illegal here. if you get caught your screwed.
2) $10 a ticket is a ripp off. Especially when it is a Wii to win. There are official raffle here lilke this where there is $100 tickets 200 of them max, But you win a $150,000 car.
your $10 for a $300 wii is a rip off. It should be like $2bux a ticket. I can't beleive peopel are stupid enough to buy ay your rates.

You might want to look into the local gambling laws, especially since you're referring to it as a raffle and not a 'game of chance'. Any of your losers in your raffle can contact the gaming commission, have you fined for operating without a license and get their money back plus some.

In fact, I just printed another batch of tickets, but now I will sell the ticket at $12 dlls.
I just need to talk with my friend that works in K-Mart so he can save me a Wii. At $12 dlls per two tickets I still win $300 dlls.
