Nice list. You should definitely try Elite Beat Agents, if you're into rhythm games. The 2 castlevania games are also pretty good.

Yeah, there are two titles, with the other one being Kirby Squeak Squad. Squeak Squad is okay, but Canvas Curse is definately better. It only uses the stylus and works perfectly. The final boss is also one of my favorites ever. I suggest checking it out.

Wow, too many good games, and that´s not counting Sonic Dark Brotherhood, Dragon Quest IV,etc...not to mention PS3 and Wii games as well!!!

I didn't like the Ninja Gaiden demo. However, I've heard lots of good things about it but that it is very short. If you can rent it, I highly recommend that. Keep in mind that Contra 4 is very hard.

Maybe you should get a puzzle game? Puzzle Quest, PicrossDS, Tetris DS, and Puzzle Plant League are the best puzzle games on the system so maybe one of them. Puzzle Quest and PicrossDS are the cheapest, so you may want to stay with one of them.
