Forums - Nintendo - I´m finally getting a DS + lots of games, what do you think about this list?

I had never really enjoyed handhelds before, but I´ve warmed up to the idea so I´m gonna go for it.

I figure it´ll be a nice complement to my PS3 and Wii.

Anyway, here are the titles I´ll be getting for now, any other suggestions (except for sports and strategy games, as I dislike these genres) are appreciated.

-Mario Kart DS

-New Super Mario Bros

-Zelda Phantom Hourglass

-Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword

-Contra 4

-Final Fantasy IV

-The World Ends With You

-Hotel Dusk Room 215 (or 205...whatever)

That´s my 'to get started' list.

Cheers.

the Ace Attorney (Phoenix Wright & Apollo Justice) series. they're amazing

FFTA2

if your into anime/manga, Jump Ultimate Stars (but you have to import it. its worth it, my favorite DS game.)

I loved Pac 'n' Roll but no one else seems to ever mention it.
You can probably pick it up dirt cheap now.

awesome list!

one of my favorite games is Animal Crossing, A game where you have your own house and do stuff around like talk to the animals and earn bells... it's really fun and kept me busy for nearly a year.

Bells are the currency btw. >>;

Kirby Canvas Curse. Advance Wars: Days of Ruin. Yoshi's Island 2.

You need these games.

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

*takes note of Ace Attorney and Animal Crossing*

How many Ace Attorney titles are there?

Nice starter list. Some Suggestions:

Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
Kirby Canvas Curse
Professor Layton and the Curious Village

Currently Playing: Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart 8, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Super Smash Bros for Wii U

Predictions:

Super Mario Galaxy will pass Super Mario 64 in total sales CORRECT!

I heard there are 2 Kirby titles for the DS...Canvas Curse which you guys have just mentioned, and another one....I take it Canvas Curse is far better?
