My Number in My sig will be wrong at the end of the year. Based on what I am feeling right now, I see end of the year sales and market share percentages as so: Wii 42.01M 46.5% 360 25.48M 28.3% PS3 22.82M 25.2% I still think the Wii is going to hit a wall well below what people think it is going to sale based on its record setting start. It is just to limited of an experiance, and I just can't see there being enough people that want a games only machine for it to be able to continue at this pace for much longer. If I am wrong I have no problem with it. If the Wii can really prove that there are a 100M or more people that are just wanting to play games then that is a great thing. I just hope that those people will eventually start seeing the possibilities of games as an entertainment device insted of a fun toy. As far as PS3 and 360 go. I doubt the price cuts in the US will be enough to give 360 a win over the PS3 worldwide this year. In fact I see PS3 outselling 360 even in America the rest of this year. Last year PS3 sold many sytems on the fact that it was a Blu-ray player. Just look at sales spike aroung the releases of big movies like Spiderman 3. This year the PS3 will have even bigger releases in the Blu-ray library with The Dark Knight, while Blu-ray will also be the only format in town. Plus this year PS3 also has the most first party exclusive out of the three consoles, and they will all be key in every region. So lets just say I expect things to get interesting for the rest of the year.
