What do you think the console %ages will be on the 1st of January

WII--- 47.0

360--- 30.4

PS3--- 22.5

The PS3 will have 25% marketshare and the 360's marketshare will be below 25%.

so you think PS3 will overtake 360?

So the wii will have over 50%?

I expect Wii to sell 59.3%, ps3 21.9% AND 360 18.8% So that means I expect Wii's share to up greatly, PS3's to stay stable/drop slightly and 360's share to drop a lot.

(my calc was a proportion as 475 wii 175 ps3 150 360 = 800, it is based on nothing as a real calculation should take in account too much...)

Personally I expect about 49% for the Wii, 28% for X360 and 23% for PS3.

I think the Wii wil be around 49% give or take just a little. The PS3 will be about 23.8%. The XBOX360 will be around 27.2%.

I'll hold off till next till this weeks numbers come in... but I think if MS's claims hold then the Wii and 360 maybe have little change. Can the Wii keep production up or will Microsoft outsell them based on just having more consoles in stores... it's possible if highly unlikely. If the price drop is effective the game may very well change.

The end of year market shares will probably fall somewhere into this range, likely around the middle:

Wii - 47.5% to 52.5%
360 - 27.5% to 30.0%
PS3 - to 24.0% to 28.5%

That's going off of projections based on 2007 data, adjusted upwards or downwards as appropriate to account for higher or lower sales for the year thus far.
