Ooooh yes...

for me the compulsions are berely noticable though, all I do is these.

1. when changing the volume on TV's, stereos, whatever. I have to have the volume level in multiples of three.

2. Bar the case of rule 1. Everything else has to be in multiples of 2.

3. When I'm in a room the doors have to be shut. But if they're not and other people are around I grin and bare it.

4. I often read papers and books upside down when by myself. I actually find it easier to read things upside down. Again I don't do this with people around.

5. Until recently I had to exit a bathroom straight away if the toilet was flushed. Even if it meant me walking straight back in. But I forced myself to stop this.

6. I ALWAYS have to know how much money I have to the penny. I can't rest if I don't know.

Man! I do that too. I always leave the house knowing precisely how much I have and am always counting to make sur I got it right even thouugh I know it´s right because I just counted 3 freaking times.

Jeez some strange compulsions in here lol,

I think I only have two:

1. I need to wash my hands before I do anything. (Playing video games, using computer, watching TV)
2. I just can't stand halfway opened doors, either fully opened or fully closed.

Yes. Every time I leave a room I need to turn the light switch on then off exactly 17 times or my family will die.

Direct quote from friends :P

Four of my friends have OCD two of which have to have everything symetrical which includes if you touch her on the shoulder she has to touch her other shoulder, when we found out about this we had a lot of fun torchering them, pointing out things that arent symetrical, putting dots of ink on parts of their work etc :D

One of my other friends has a simple one which means he hates standing on the left side of a group of people.

And my last friend obesses over worrying things like coursework deadlines, terrorism things like that. This is probably the worst of the four.

Wow, tons of people with OCD. I have some minor things; I don't know if they count as OCD or not. Most of them aren't 100% have to happen. I knew this one kid who had it REALLY bad.

1. Would not write the letter 6 or anything that could be multiplied or divided to achieve it (i.e. 32 or 122).

2. He was hydrophobic for a few months. Needless to say, his smell became less than pleasant in a few days.

3. He had to dribble a basketball the same amount with his left and right hand (i.e. 3 dribbles right, three dribbles left).

There were lots more, but those are the only ones I can remember. It's been four years since I went to school with him.

I got the first one... I wash my hands after I came from the outdoors, and I never forget to brush my teeth.. it's now a habit for me...

Wow, dtewi it sounds like you have pretty bad OCD... but none of those things sound like actual problems.

No, I don't have any. It takes quite a lot to bother me, and I just don't really care about miniscule details.

There are some interesting OCD habits in here. I don't think I have the disorder but probably experience some rituals associated with it. I HAVE to have everything organized MY way or I go completely insane. Sometimes when I touch a pole in a hallway, I have to touch every other pole after it until I leave the hallway or I feel uncomfortable.

Works this way with rails too. When I was a kid it was worse to the point my mind would think if I don't touch a certain number of rails/poles the number I missed will be associated with the number of years I live
