There seems to be a .1% lost on the main page :-/

Question. The market share for the 360 went down by .1% but the PS3 and Wii market share didn't change at all where did that extra .1% marketshare go?

Good week for Nintendo, again :P

Bets with Conegamer:

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

Fullfilled Prophecies

the 360 needs to destroy the ps3 next week if they want to win 2nd this gen. no price cut in EU, so it has to be done in america.

Next week will be Sep 6, which will only be one day worth of tracked sales involving the price cut. The numbers wont have the full effect.

They have plenty of time to pick up steam from this price cut.  Add in some major software titles (and who knows what they'll announce at the TGS) and they might just be fine.

They have also stated that they want to pay more attention to Europe too, and after their recent love shown for the Japanese market, this might be a good move by MS.

I think 360 will be top of table in NA next week...
because most people in NA are waiting the price cut.

Good news for the Wii as far as North America goes. Still the Wii is at it's lowest total since March.

360= Ouche! This price cut better work bigtime or the holiday season could get real ugly.

They already cut price by 100 euros in Others this year and the arcade is already cheaper than the Wii there.

What more can they do ? Give the boxes away ?( offer a free Wii for every 360 purchase might work though...Now there's an idea !).

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !
