I like this, they should be concerned with profits, not marketshare at this point.
Sony doesn't care cause they know they own microsoft (not literally)
MS really need to decide who they are trying to compete with.
It seems the latest round of price cuts are aimed to steal sales from both Sony and Nintendo.
I don't see this working out. In fact, I think it is likely to backfire on them.

It wont affect PS3 it will sell regardless of 360 price and its sales. It might hurt Sony during Christmas when buyers will be faced with choice getting consoles with similar libraries with their primary target being games (not BR) and 360 being significantly cheaper. But untill then PS3 would be fine.

They know who to compete with PS3 and WII if they can take customers from either, they happily will
PS3, WII and 360 all great systems depends on what type of console player you are.
