The rumor on the new Nintendo DS keeps popping up, despite Nintendo claiming they won't release another redesigned one. I still am in the belief they will, but not until next year after they reach the 100 million sales of the DS/Lite. I think personally they want 150 million sales out of it, and they will do something to squeeze the final 50 million, probably by maybe adding an extended life battery, adding wireless internet or something where it could surf online at hot spots. Who knows, but given how they kept changing the GBA, I doubt we've seen the last DS.

Squeeze? Considering the Americas and others sales, there's nothing that would indicate Nintendo needing to "squeeze" any new sales. In Japan they need to do something, but DS have already passed the "magical" 20M mark and market is starting to saturate (which is amazing that it still sells so much).
In order to get the sales up again, Nintendo needs to release new innovative software for the DS, although, new redesign would indeed boost sales.
