Not bad ideas - but I think any chance of 360 getting back on top (by my definition which would be ahead of Wii) has long gone I think.

360 is all about how much marketshare and momentum MS can get to take forward to next gen now, and trying to deny Sony as much as they can.



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Thinking about Bluray, I don't see how it can help microsoft at all.

It would have to be an addon, and it would only be for films.

The most important factor would be cost. I think it's widely accepted that the bluray is one of the reasons for the high cost of the PS3, and we all know that they are making a loss on each PS3 sold.

So, unless Microsoft sold the addon at a loss it would be a expensive piece of hardware which would ultimately make the PS3 look more desirable against the 360 as a gaming and movie watching device. The old I can play games and watch bluray films for £x on PS3 whereas it would cost £y more on 360.

I think that making the system smaller, with a quiet fan, and a guaruntee from MS that the RROD is fixed (or extremely minimized) would help the image of the 360 and help boost sales.

This one may simply combine the previous few entries on this list, but bear with us. The value of the Xbox 360 Elite is simply not there. It now costs twice as much as the Xbox 360 Arcade, but only offers HDMI, a wireless controller and a 120 GB hard drive to justify that price increase. It's time to make the Elite truly worthy of its name. Add a built-in wireless network adapter. Add a Blu-ray player. Add a slot loading disc drive. Make the console smaller. Give people a reason to pay more money.


Does he not realize that all 360s come with HDMI now?

The Elite is the biggest waste of money ever. All it has is a larger HDD compared to the Premium.

They should bundle a game with it or something.

They do have a point $100.00 for the Wi fi adapter is a rip off that should be $50.00 at most and the Hard drives are way over priced too. I am with the lower the price of them



PS3, WII and 360 all great systems depends on what type of console player you are.

Currently playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Fallout 3, Halo ODST and Dragon Age Origins is next game

xbox 360 wont have a price cut in 09 ,maybe an sku adjustment/change, here or there, but no really a price cut. but the ps3 will have a price cut in 09, not anytime soon, as they are focussing on profitablity, but like e3 09ish. when they cut the price, its all over for xbox 360. one thing that would definately help the 360 though, is a real halo 4, not some stupid halo wars garbage. no a real halo 4. then people will pick up interest in the aging xbox 360.
