I agree, but I may just be confused by the awesomeness of your avatar.
On topic, this sample is a bit flawed. Apple has a ~ 3.5% market share every year. For 8% + of the usage to be on Macs seems odd. I see 5-6% as possible, but 8% seems awfully high.

True, my avatar is awesome.
Benchmarks are in FF3.1b is faster then Chrome for Javascript.

With what I have seen from FF3.1 most complaints for FF3 should be removed as they have improved a TON of crap as well they seem to be adding somethings from what their development page shows. Also it adds new web standards that was just released by the WWC.

Any articles on benchmarks for Opera? I'm interested in seeing how Opera 9.52 competes with Chrome(0.2?)/Fx3.1
I know that Opera 10 (coming later this year) will be adding tons of optimisations and the renderer gets a 100 on the Acid3 test, but I was wondering how it stands now.
How are these stats calculated? Why isn't the total > 100%. I use 4 browsers (I'm a web developer), but almost everyone I know uses IE and FF.

Opera probably regained or will regain their speed advantage versus FF. Back when early benchmarks for FF3 was released FF smoked Opera 9.xx but Opera 10 will probably be faster but still have the same issues as Opera 9 did (not full up to date on web standards, HTML5 and CSS3 was just adds a ton of new crap that FF3.1a2 already landed expect Opera to support most of it but not as much as FF).

You have to realize that there is some overlap for people so in a poll of the internet on any site including Google won't average 100% because one day one person could be using FF and the next have to use IE for a website while have google as their homepage for both browsers.

It already has major security bugs too... I stopped using it because of that. The lack of extensions doesn't help either.
Definitely a good effort on Google's part, and a solid first version, but not at all ready for prime time yet.
