On the other hand in Motorstorm 2 and the EU PS3 xmas buyers who want a fun....cool racing game.....basically what Motorstorm 2 is with its 4-player splitscreen & fun crashes...& motorstorm 2 has literally no competition

This leads me to believe thanks to EU MS 2 will outsell RES 2....

 No it wont. Motorstorm 2 will be overlooked as there are hotter games coming out. Besides its not being bundled. Motorstorm only got to 4 Mil because it was bundled.

Of all the games coming to the PS3 before the end of the year Resistance 2 seems to be the one that every PS3 owner is getting. If the multiplayer is as good as it looks it could even push some hardware via word of mouth.

MotorStorm PR on the other hand is the sequel to what was a pretty mediocre game. My brother bought it for me in March and while it's playable I couldn't help wishing he'd got Burnout Paradise instead.

Perhaps I am underestimating MotorStorm but I don't think there will be much contest.

Well, I'm getting both games, so it doesn't bother me either way. I absolutely loved both the original Motorstorm and Resistance, and the sequels to each look to be better in every way than their (respective) predecessor.
