Would I be considered a Fanboy if I have pretty much have only Sony consoles? I Have a PSP Phat and used to have a PS2 and since then Upgraded to the PS3. I also still have a Old Skool SNES and had a original Game boy, but havent had any other Nintendo consoles. I think the Nintendo Wii is cool I have played it, but its not really my cup of Tea. I have played and have been considering buying and XBOX 360, but I'm still hoping that they could eliminate that RROD a little more! That newer price cut is Tempting but I have a feeling that they might come out with a newer Updated Console (XBOX 360 Slim or Something). What are your Opinions?

Having only one company's consoles makes you a fan, not a fanboy. Now if you start spouting insults at the other consoles....that makes you a fanboy.

...

I just looked over your post history. No you're not.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

You like SONY consoles a lot, nothing wrong with that

You would be classed as a fanboy is you started laying into the 360 and wii....but owning the consoles just mean you like Sony products.

Plus that post has no visible fanboy undercurrent

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD

A fanboy is not defined by what console/brand he likes but how that like/love reflects in what they say and do , some people are rational and logical with it and others are damn right stupid.

Yeah, not a fanboy until:

- You make posts with nothing but "X console is the best"

- Your arguments ignore certain glaring facts despite the fact that you know what those facts are and have intentionally chosen to omit them as they discredit your argument

- You will never buy the opposing console(s) regardless of the appeal and sheer awesomeness of their games library, just because it is that console.

- You get flamed by 80% of the userbase here for making SPAM comments in threads just to bash another console, regardless of the topic of the thread

- You see the light at the end of the tunnel for your console in a black hole (i.e there's obviously dark times ahead but you try and put a positive spin on it, utilising point no.2 frequently)

That depends. Mila Jojovich or Selma Hayeck?

You're not a fanboy just because you own only Sony consoles. You're a fanboy because you come here. We're all fanboys here; if we weren't, we'd be playing games instead of going on Internet forums to discuss them and preach the good word of our favored company and vision of what gaming should be.

Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.

No definitly not if you like one console over another fair enough.
