Not to be overly critical here but I think NVIDIA's criticism is poinant (if self serving).

Cell is not hard to develop for because it's not x86. All of the systems use POWER and there seem to be no complaints for those.
Don't get me wrong, I love to see a comback for voxel and nurb based games, but Intel is in 5th place in the massive parallelism wars behind sun (the leader), ibm, amd, and nvidia.
