Forums - Sales - Microsoft RPG price cuts (Lost Odyssey & Blue Dragon)

Looks like now that Infinite Undiscovery is here, it is safe to cut prices on the older RPGS. Sucks cuz I just bought Lost Odyssey last week for $47 online and I thought that I was getting a good deal. Expect these games to go up on the chart next week.

On a side note: I've always wondered why there isn't a Forum on here for Videogame Deals.

For $40 I recommend everyone to purchase and play Lost Odyssey. Its a very good game. If you have 40+ hours to waste $20 for Blue Dragon is not too bad.

Last time I checked LO's price was pretty high in Australia (90 something bucks if my memory is correct). They still have lots of copies on the shelves as-well. I certainly hope this price-cut increases the sales of these games.

You can get it for $50 from a few places (JB Hi-Fi has it at that price I believe). For that price you really cannot go wrong.

$20 for Blue Dragon?

Not bad.

Now I'm just waiting for Spectral Force 3, Operation Darkness and Culdcept Saga to go down in price.

I wouldn't touch Operation Darkness if I were you. The game is pretty bad. The camera is almost unusable, the graphics are poor (PS2 level), and the load times are bad.

Huh. I may have to try out Blue Dragon at that price. I'm not usually one for JRPGs, but I do like the light-hearted story/dungeon-crawler variety well enough.

About the "video game deals" thread, I'll go ahead and create one. :)

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

At $20, Blue Dragon is a MUST buy for any JRPG fan. Not everyone likes it, but those that do usually love the game for it's homage to bygone 16-bit concepts.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
