Clint Eastwood directs some quiality movies, i liked him as an actor as well but in that Area Jack Nicholson wins.

hmmm... I ´d say Jack is definitly the better actor... he aged well and did some great stuff even at a high age... Clint has a fantastic leather hardball face... great for westerns... personally I like Jack more for what he did in Easy Rider, Cuckoo´s Nest and Shining... the last two are some of the best acting of all time... Clint directs great and did some fantasic movies... but Jack is on a hole other level... if you disagree watch Shining and then name a movie where Clint was as intence and sent shivers down your spine... good luck with that...

We are talking about acting... not who can look coolest in a movie (anyone can do that) and Jack can act all over Clint without even trying...

Jack Nicholson has more range as an actor. Clint Eastwood is more impressive to me though. He should be studied by all wannabe bad asses as the gold standard of bad asses. The Man With No Name and Dirty Harry are two of my all time favorite characters.

I'm going to have to go with Clint Eastwood because I like the image he always manages to portray as a total bad ass, he does it better than most actors out there and it is consistently good, so much that just seeing him you can feel it.
