In comparison here is the top 10 PS3 titles:
1. Little Big Planet: 8,103,695
2. Killzone 2: 7,960,059
3. Gran Turismo 5: 6,857,209
4. Resistance 2: 2,609,400
5. WKC: 1,248,749
6. Socom C: 1,201,871
7. God Of War III: 1,136,602
8. FF Versus XIII: 1,056,836
9.Valkyrie Chronicles: 833,195
10. Heavy Rain: 632,711
*White Knight Chronicles
*Socom Confrontation
The problem with using this system to judge hype/anticipation is that some titles have much less content released (trailers/clips etc.) then others. So it's logical that those particular titles will recieve less views overall.
God Of War III for example has only a few trailers released, yet it's already at no.7. Which would indicate it's overall views will, more then likely, be utterly huge post release. Yet if you look at my list above, one could easily make the assumption that Socom Confrontation is the bigger/more hyped game.
In the case of Banjo on your list, I would imagine that with more trailers arriving closer to launch, it will see a significant rise in total views.
In order to get a more in-depth understanding of how much the online community (In GT's case) are responding to the titles, one would have to number the amount of trailers released, get the average amount of views per trailer, get an average of the score, then post the results.

This is the Captain of the Enterprise. Our respect for other life games requires that we give you this... warning. One critical item of information that has never been incorporated into the specifications of any Microsoft Xbox. Since the early years of gaming, Microsoft consoles have had incorporated into them a substance known as... corbomite. It is a material and a device which prevents attack on us. If any exclusive game is compared to our console, a game of equal strength is created, destroying -DESTROYING the attacker. It may interest you to know that since the initial use of corbomite more than two of our generations ago, no attacking console has survived the attempt. Death has... little meaning to us. If it has none to you then attack us now. We grow annoyed at your foolishness.

I have a new respect, for the both of you (wiping tears).
I have 5 of those games reserved, playing one (Tales) and might pick up Pinata based on the first reviews I've seen (1up and ...I forget, somewhere else).
Getting on-line to play Gears now. peace!

Theres no direct link between the quantity of trailers and the number of views. Its more the quality of the trailer itself and the hype surrounding the game that moves people to watch them. Most people are will not see more than a few different trailers anyway.
Because im dealing with titles to be released within a the next 4 months its not so much an issue having hyped up 2009 releases being compared with games releaed in 2008 because naturally the number of views rise as a game nears its release date.
This was never intended as a serious point of comparison, just something fun and interesting to kick round the forum while we wait for the sales numbers/games to come out.
Tease.

PSSSST!
Im working on a comprehensive analysis of the game profitability for HD console releases Jan-March 07 compared to the same months in 2008.
Just don't tell anyone ok?
Tease.
Gears 2, Left 4 Dead and Fable 2 will score huge and will sell massively
Banjo 3 is looking better and better everytime is see it
FOUR 90%+ games in my eyes right there
Aye Squill, I have to say, despite your flagrant 360 love it's impossible to hate you. Respect to you, sir.

I can assure you there is a link. Mostly in the case of high quality titles.
For example LittleBigPlanet seems to average out at roughly 100k views per trailer released on GT. It's consistantly done so for the last year or so, and most probably will right up until it's release.
If Sony were to decide not to release any more trailers on GT, then most likely the total views would not move much from here on out. Whereas, it Sony released a ton of new trailers tomorrow on GT, the total views would skyrocket.
Indeed, the higher quality trailers generally seem to get more views, as do trailers for higher quality titles. The more content released for these titles however, the greater the boost the views get.
I understand that the thread wasn't meant to be very serious. The point I was trying to make in my previous post though, was that the 'GT views=hype' system could be misleading.

My mind to your mind, my thoughts to your thoughts. Our minds are one.
The 360 has no equal, it is infinite. The 360 can be purchased for as little as 199.99.
:)
Heads up, I don't know how you got an Xbox 360 exclusive out of Left 4 Dead, considering the definitive version is for a PC, but a nice spin for sure.
