Forums - Sony - What was the first thing you've done with your PS3?

I can't remember what games i first played or anything, but i remember thinking the box was pretty heavy. Then when i pulled it out and started to hook it up i thought those non push buttons for power and eject were pretty odd. It took me a couple of minutes to figure them out.

Heh, I actually love the buttons for ejecting and powering on the console, those are great.  I don't so much like turning off the console because I usually do it with my foot (because my PS3 is low to the ground) and have to stand there in an awkward positions for a few seconds.

back then i got a 60gig with motorstorm.

1st thing was i got a big old static shock from the ps3 and continued for about a week



...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

Yeah, but some whining is justified. Do you think it's right that they sell the PS3 as _the_ HD machine but only give you SD cables?

How are those with older TVs suppose to play it if they only included an HDMI cable? With the standard cables everyone can play it out of the box.

Updated and then played a little MGS4. Now it just collects dust.

Played Madden 07. it sucked. But i got resistance a few days later and it was kickass.

Who says they have to use HDMI cables?  The 360 has about the perfect solution to this with their dual cables.  People with standard TV's can play the console and people with HDTV's can experience actual HD.  If they want the bonus that HDMI brings them, they have to pay for that, but they at least still can play things in HD.

No.  No. and No.

I said no for how many years this has been said, 06, 07, 08.

Yes, we get it.  HD console, no HD cable.  Oxymoron.  Moronic.  Dumb.  Stupid.

But in complaining over it, has Sony began to include HDMI cables?  No.  Component?  No.  

So...

Get over it.  

And of course, some whining is justified, but whining forever isn't.

I'm sure I won't whine about it forever, just until the PS4 comes out and I can finally forget about it.

Only eight more years to go... ^_^
