it should see decent sales
depending on how it does in Japan, i could see it outelling ToV worldwide just because it has a more traditonal "realistic" graphical style, whereas ToV has the anime style. So people (moreso in North America) might be more inclined to purchase IU, regardless of reviews.
I doubt Game informer even played ToV for more then 3 hours anyway. After giving it a 7, I don't care much what they think.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.
i like the game, i would give it as of right now a 8.5 and tales a 8.4 . either way both very good rpg's.

I'm a little into the game, and it's not too bad.
The main protagonist is, to be quite honest, a big wuss so far. The battle system is alright. I don't see as bad of frame rate issues as some of the reviewers have been saying. It drops a bit during attacks, but while walking around - the FR is rock solid.
It does feel that the game was on a tight budget, but I give this an 8/10 so far. From what I've played in ToV, I would give it a 9.3/10.

Metacritic conversion is kinda mess up when it apply to 5 out of 5 score or A-F grade. While it's true that 3/5 is the same as 6/10 but I don't think it's convey the same when intention.
hmm.. Seems good... Might get this.
I just finished Lost Odyssey (Second time) and are now free to play something new and fresh. IU will be that game.
