Well the new chart from Chart - Track is out.

As usual no numbers is given, and they are bunching together multiplat. This makes it hard to say which plattform that is the big seller. What we can look at is the consol specific charts, and compare the position of the multiplat with the exclusive games. Example we know that Forza is exclusive for xbox360, this means that all games that is above Forza would have entered the chart without help from other consols.

As can be seen Potter is one the number one spot just as last week. It will be intressting to see if it can fight against Forzas good start (3 weeks in a row in number the number one spot). Just as last week it seems like Wii and PS2 is those plattforms that sells the most Potter games, BUT both xbox360 and PS3 seems to sell more Potter this week.

For Wii Resident Evil 4 is the best selling game for the second week in a row, it can also be seen that Tiger and Sonic is stable, not a week is going without those games in the top 40. EA and Sega seems to be big winners on the Wii. Wii provided the top 40 with at least 8 games in the top 40, with the lowest at position 28.

PS3 had a much better week when it comes to the top 40, with motorstorm reentering the top 40, this gives PS3 5 games in the top 40 (compared to last weeks 2). If this is an indication of more hardware sales or if the UK gamers that owns a PS3 bought didn't care for the blu-ray is hard to say.

Xbox360, you can see that UK is the best contry for the box. Again a very strong software sale week with atleast 9 games in the top 40, the last one on position 23. On that we have two multiplat on position 10 and 11 on the xbox chart that is in the top 40.

So any comment this week?

I missed that...no it didn't not for a first week release. It seems that clancy is the number one game of choice for the PS3 crowd for the moment.

Nice to see The Darkness and Rainbow Six still doing well. The two top games are licensed crap, for shame.

Edit: forgot that the PS3 version of The Darkness is delayed to the 20th of July in Europe so we'll probably see the Darkness in the top 10 for a while to come.

NGS outsold Harry Potter on the PS3, but was outsold by Rainbow Six on that console.

Very interesting stuff. 

As usual on the UK charts...or more or less all charts.

I am also very happy that The Darkness is doing good, swedish power for the win! (if I am allowed to want the gaming companies of Sweden doing well).

Ninja Gaiden for Xbox was also abandoned in the U.K charts.
As i have said before the game is too hardcore for most players.
Failed to break a million worldwide on the xbox too.
450K on the PS3 worldwide sounds plausible considering the huge ps2 audience that never got to play the game.

NGS will bomb all around it isn't going to sell very big, I don't think it will reach it's target of 450,000... maybe after a year or more on the market but it will show up for a couple of weeks and then disappear. Pity because PS3 players really are aching for a game right now, this weeks US charts will be interesting.!

NGS may boom in sales but it is one of the best games but I cant afford it.

Attack of the movie licenses... 4 in the top 8!

Top Ninty published title - #17 (NSMB)

Top Sony published titles  - #39 / #40 (Motorstorm / Resistance)

Interesting stat - of the top 20 titles published on the Wii, only FOUR are from Nintendo (and 5 / 30). That's pretty amazing (and never happened with the GC).

3 of the top 4 titles are non-Ninty titles.

3rd-parties are doing better on the Wii all the time!
