More like just America. They don't even have Europe Anymore. And they are slowly losing Others in general. Not to mention the PS3-360 Gap will be much smaller when the game is released.....

So many factors u miss.
1.The exclusive PS3 version of FF13 in Japan will be the best ever selling PS3/360 SW to date in Japan and will be the biggest region for FF13.
2.The PS3 has more Jrpg fans and will gain even more for the release of White Knight Chronicals [the 3rd most important Jrpg after the 2 FF's] which releases before both FF's. Also, the sale of Jrpg's on the 360 are weak.
3.What FF fan is gonna be without FF13 Verses?-very, very few! as it seams FF13 Verses is more the traditional FF game and could well be the gem of the 2.
4.All 3 FF13 games can be played on the PS3, including Agito for the PSP. This should make it even more enticing for people to have them all on the same platform.
5.The 360 version is a direct port of the PS3 version. Hang on, that means not as good in my books. The PS3 has much, much better sound too and will be on 1 Blu-ray disc. How many discs is the 360 version gonna have again?
6.FF13 release is late next year. This means the PS3 should have a bigger userbase too.

Xbox may have bought some exclusives but that doesn't mean customers are buying them. It will outsell on the PS3 meanwhile the PS2 keeps getting Atlus RPGS like Persona and now the PS3 gets an exclusive Disgaea 3. If the 360 is such a moneymaker why didn't they port them? After all Sony claims they don't buy exclusives. Which leaves JPRGS don't sell on the Xbox. Because gasp, they don't.
sure.. if you count the no. of discs (xbox360's 3-4 discs) vs 1 blu ray :)

5 THINGS I'd like to see before i knock out:
a. a AAA 3D sonic title
b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"
c. redesgined PS controller
d. SEGA back in the console business
e. M$ out of the OS business
maybe in the usa but not in japan and others
I don't know if it'll outsell the PS3 version or not but I'll be adding one the the 360 side. =D

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you on JRPGs just don't sell on 360.
To OP: I think it will be a close one, I'm really not sure though. We will see where the consoles lay when that time roles around.
There is definitely more to list that I want, but that's my main focus there.
