What makes it worse is that my holiday from work starts in a couple of days and I'm most likely going to be ill during that time

Chicken pox? Are you sure? You only get it once in a lifetime. Didn't you get chicken pox as a kid, like everyone else.

Anyway, hope you have a speedy recovery and it doesn't ruin your holiday.

Damn, that really sucks especially if it's right before you have some time off.
I think I had the chicken pox when I was in 3rd or 4th grade. Is this your first time getting them?

Wow thats pretty unlucky. Well I suppose you got to laugh at everyones spotty faces as a kid, so its not so bad.

Wait...do you mean currently? There seems to be a strange strain of pox heading 'round the UK. I got chicken pox when I was about 2 or 3 years old so I'm lucky in that regard. Just remember that there's nothing you can do about it, so you might as well scratch the damn thing.
