Anyway, the title says it all, yeah... its a casual 3rd party sports game but the game was actually good, the controls responds well and if you dont like the motion controls you can switch to traditional controls anyway... AND ITS FUN!

 

Again, another game that underrated by reviewers simply because they dont like it or because its too casual. Or because its a port cough"okami" cough, cough"the brush techniques didnt respond well"cough

If the game wasnt good why it sells 560,000 so far according to vgchartz, I dont know what other games reviewers underrated I think I'll buy it just to make sure like Sonic and the Secret Rings and Top Spin 3.

I like Sega Superstars Tennis. The controls have a slight delay to them but it's no biggie. The minigames in it are very fun. I can't tell you about Top Spin 3 but I can say that I like Sonic and the Secret Rings alot. I think that it's the best Sonic since the Genesis games.

How does Sega superstars tennis compare to Virtua tennis 3?

When it was announced i was hoping it was gonna play just like Virtua tennis 3 but with sega characters.......... does it?

I didn't really enjoy the demo but its sales are impressive. At 1.34 million overall its obviously been a resounding success.

Thanks for the advice on Sonic and the Secret Rings amp316 Im gonna get Sonic and the Secret Rings really soon maybe this month, to tell it frankly I never care on what reviewers say or score right now. After the okami lies I dont care on what reviewers says right now...

I even bought Dewy's Adventure and Smarty Pants I'll even buy Alone in the Dark 4 and Obscure the Aftermath if I dont have any options on what to buy...

Its virtua Tennis with SEGA characters and new colorful maps, the only thing thats been added on the Wii was the motion control...

I don't think there's much of a choice of"hardcore/casual" with a Tennis game, though.

Does the Wii version have online? I think I heard that it didn't, and I'm a bit surprised if Sega gimped the game like that considering most of their success this gen is coming from the Wii.

They didnt gimped it, infact, im surprised the graphics was actually good and colorful. The graphics was enjoyable... About online, do you really want the Ninty online service? SERIOUSLY?

i rented this game.. before my 360 died in june... I enjoyed this game a lot. It's got some great mini-games and music, and lots of fan service for old school sega fans like me. The online community for this game is pretty much dead. The controls are pretty simple but slow, to be honest this game is not as fluid as mario powerstar tennis for Gamecube if you play a tennis match, but the mini-games are much more fun.
