Only a mother could love that design. I don't know if they're trying to reach younger audiences but that's look like a really bad desicion for this game.

 

 Pitfall needs to die. Uncharted is the new Pitfall.

That just does not look good -- in any way shape or form.
And that is a shame since Pitfall was the game that helped put Activision on the map more than a quarter century ago.

PS -- Pitfall and Stampede were the first two games by Activision for the Intellivision. They were direct ports of the Atari 2600 version.
