I don't think LBP will be huge, but it could prove to be a sleeper hit. This game could have some legs, but in all honesty, the PS3 hasn't exactly had a hugely successful release yet.

why does it matter how many millions this game will sell? its looks like a great game with a great direction, so if your personal experience with is a good one why does it matter if it will be huge or not.
i think it will be huge as a game , why should i care about sales
it WILL BE HUGE AS A GAME

absolutly huge if it tops 4.35 million (it would be the best selling ps3 game then)
great if it makes the top 5 (greater than 3.06 million)
good if it makes the top 10 (greater than 1.53 million)
flop if it doesn't crack the top fifteen (less than 1.16 million)

I am in the "LBP= Nights into dreams for PS3" camp. PS3 is more successful than Sega Saturn, but the game is being treated the same and will get the same results- good reviews, decent sales, cult classic, fails to increase console sales by much of anything and is thus a "failure" while at the same time being a fantastic and fondly remembered game.
The only way it's gonna be a flop is if the revenue don't cover the expenses.
As long as a game makes a decent profit it won't be a failure.
If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing

It sounds like you're on the wrong site.
It will sell to the current user base but will not serve to expand the base to any great degree (in other words -- it will not sell a lot of consoles after the initial release).
It ends up somewhere between "good" and "great" as skip as defined them.
It has an appeal, but will it appeal enough to people who have bought the PS3 for Resistance or God of War III? That is the major question.
