the 360 falcons still RROD. prove it wrong. yes the numbers of RROD have decreased a little but RROD is still here and it isnt going anywhere at the moment. and try telling the angry mob that have been complaining about the falcons getting the RROD, that the 360 dont suffer fro it any longer.

How about you prove that 360 falcons are failing almost as badly as the launch 360s, since you're making the assertion. Where is the 'angry mob' of people complaining about falcons getting RROD.  Anyone who has a machine that fails is going to be annoyed, whether it be a PS3, a Wii or a 360.  I've seen enough complaints about failures concerning all these machines in various forums to know that no manufacturer can guarantee that their machine won't fail

He never said they were. He said in the post that the RRoD rate was reduced with the falcon. While the Thread starter is trying to claim that the falcon fixed the RRoD problem permanently, When it hasn't.

He said that the introduction of the falcons had only reduced RROD 'a little', so he is saying that falcons are failing almost as badly as launch 360s.  Try reading and comprehending the posts before you respond.

I know it`s hard to let go of your ACE fanboys... I mean the 360 library of games...you can`t use that. The price of the 360... you can`t use that, after the next week price cut. Even the "50$ every year on Live" is getting old.

So the RRoD is the critical factor here. I know,it`s hard,but... I`m not even going to bother with the 3 year warranty,I want you to sleep well tonight.

Woot! Was waiting for that one. This will be short and fun, ok, here I go.....

The library difference has shortened tremendously over the last year, and only will get smaller. Many of those games that put the 360 above the PS3's quantity are still available for the PS2. A lot of sports games and liscence games did not come to PS3, as it was not out, but it did go to 360/PS2. Is it fair to still count these games against the PS3, no. So lets talk about the games that premiered on the 360 only that the PS3 does not have, not that many of them. Majority of games these days are multiplat form and can be played on any system (dont get me wrong, I hate multiplat). Everytime an Xbot says the 360 has more games I ask him what games does he play the most. His answer is usually something like Madden or COD4. I call BS because these games can be found on EVERY system. When you look at the actual EXCLUSIVE games to the systems the 360 is equal to the PS3 line up if not over shadowed by it.

Second, Price. The 360 is still over priced for a system that lacks a lot of features that the competition host for free. The 360 charges 50 bones a yr for online, faulty hardware that RROD, destroys discs if it is bumped while playing, no built in wifi, propriatary accessories, forces you to buy batteries or get a propriatary charge kit for controllers, all for a price very close to but less then the PS3. with the PS3 i get built in WIFI, BD/ DVD player, USB PORTS, SD readers, rechargable controllers, usb cord, free online. All of this in the PS3 system makes it well worth over $700, yet Sony sells it to me for only $500. Sony actually takes a hit in the pockets to make their system more obtainable for the consumer, something the competition would not DREAM of doing. Only Sony would care that much.

RROD is only the beginning of the 360's issues. No amount of price skuing is going to save them from that. The PS3 has already proven it can out sell the 360 even with a much heaftier price tag. If the PS3 takes a price cut, as I believe they will this christmas, then the 360 is simply no match. And please no one say that Sony said they were not going to do a price cut because console companies always say that. They will never tell you they are going to cut it because then you will halt any perchases of the system at that point in time.

Calling someone a fanboy on the forums is trolling and can result in a ban, but come on!  Are you so naive to think Sony sells their products to you at a loss because they care about you.  Sony is a business and wants your money.  If the PS3 is sold at a loss it is because market forces dictate that is what is required to compete.  Sony is hoping it will act as a Trojan Horse and it will recoup the money on software.

@Krill
I never said it was their only reason. Yet I do believe Sony cares more about their customers then most want to give them credit for. Why does everyone believe that every big named company is heartless and only wishes to rob you? Some companies can maintain good business-customer relationship and be profitable too.

Just look at developers for instance. Kojima stayed exclusive to the PS3 even though many told him he could make more money by going MultiPlat(eww). He ignored them because you know why? He is LOYAL, he cares about the FANS! Some companies have compassion you know, If I ever have a company I will run it accordingly as such...

That link to Yahoo answers was funny...

The guy doesn't realize that his X360 got insufficient power to his X360, which caused it to display 3 lights which wasn't a "true" RROD (even though it was 3 red rings, it wasn't the dead kind that we all have talked about). Reading comprehension FTW!

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

My frined keeps getting three and two RRoD and once a four but he somehow fixed it how i dont know.

The force is strong in them... so strong they will resist the price cut (1) and resist the games (2) so they will play resistance 2 insted.

I tried to free them, but they refused. I tried to tell them that ps3 is not ps2,but they refused. Nothing more i can do. The sincronysation of the Defence Force is fenomenal.

And MS is a big company that wants money, they don`t care about me or you. Same goes for Sony.

The MS fanboyism is strong within this one.
