alot of new releases, I do not see Too Human having legs, Golf will stick around a couple of weeks. SC4 major drops for both platforms.

The MKWii/WiiFit duo is unbeatable.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Chart track news:

Tiger Woods Hits Hole-in-One
01/Sep/2008

10 years on since EA launched the first Tiger Woods game, ‘Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09’ scores a hole-in-one, becoming the first Tiger Woods game to debut at the top of the All Formats Chart.

The popular golf game also tees off with the biggest launch week for a Tiger Woods game, launching across 5 different formats (33% of sales on XB360, 32% PS3 and 28% on Wii with the remainder on PS2 and PSP). It is EA’s 5th All Formats No1 week so far this year and their first since ‘Army of Two’ back in week 10. ‘Mario Kart Wii’ and ‘Wii Fit’ both drop one place to No’s 2 and 3 respectively, but Nintendo still have 3 games in the All Formats Top 5 as ‘Wii Play’ holds on to No5. Take 2 enjoy a sterling 2nd week of sales for the DS version of ‘Carnival: Funfair Games’, helping the party game reach its highest ever chart position – up from No6 to No4. Microsoft claim the next highest new entry with ‘Too Human’ on Xbox 360 at No8 (No1 on Xbox 360), while EA miss out on two All Formats Top 10 debuts as ‘The Sims 2: Apartment Life’ begins life at No11.

Ubisoft’s ‘Scrabble Interactive: 2007 Edition’ re-enters the Top 40 at No35 thanks to a retailer ‘buy one get one free’ offer on the DS version.

Ireland added in second post. Tiger Woods is on first place just like in UK (all format).

The Wii version of Tiger Woods should have better legs like most Wii games. I expect it to become the best selling version of that game within a couple weeks in the UK.

The PS2 and PSP seem dead in the UK, neither version even charted. No DS version seems like yet another dumb EA move.

This is really dumb from EA indeed.

Go buy Metroid OTHER M!

Wii code: 6775-1034-2238-1634

You can add me, I won't stop you!

My website: www.fight4custom.com

93% of ‘Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09’ sales between the 360, the PS3 and the Wii. That leaves 7% for the PSP and the PS2. With no game in the top 40, I think we can nearly officially talk about the end of the PS2 in the UK.

Quite a drop for 'Soul Calibur IV', it will most probably leave the chart next week. Yet, it did well for what it is.

Not a bad start for 'Too Human' (not too good either), but due to bad reviews, it will probably suffer the same fate as 'Haze' and 'Alone in the Dark 4' before it: a quick exit of the chart.

And, my, those 'The Sims 2' add-ons just don't seem to stop selling. As much as I like that game, I must admit that there's a little too much of them.

too human just for 3 days, and still goes into top 10, next week it will definitely still on top 10.

Tiger Woods for the Wii is the one that simulates the golfing experience, I would have expected that to sell more. Wonder why it did not.

@Seneque
I doubt the PS2 is dead yet, this is not PES or FIFA. It's golf and if someone wanted a golf game for the PS2 they can get a 2nd hand one for a few quid.

Hmm, pie.

Tiger Woods didn't sell too impressive. Last year X360 version debuted on 5th position, Wii version on 9th place and PS2 version on 24th place. 42% of debut' week sales were on X360 platform and 32% on Wii. It may be noted that despite weaker debut Wii version started to outsell 360 version since second week and as of now it outsold it by at least 2:1 ratio(going by ELSPA awards).

PS3 version was relesead 3 weeks later than Wii/360/PS2 and debuted on 11th place (one place lower below Wii version).
