If SSBB gets a late / mid December release in the US - I wouldn't be at all surprised to see if miss Europe for 2007 release. I was always pretty sure *we* (Aust) wouldn't get all three big titles this year (Galaxy had better launch here though, or I'll be very pissed...).

So... if that happens, I suppose its possible for Kart to arrive here first. I'll rather it does, than we have neither MK or SSBB.

(and we'll definitely play more MK than SSBB at our house - and it should be a better online game!).

I disagree, Brawl's the better game!

And a LOT of people expect Brawl to come out this year...and if it doesn't...there will be a lot of pissed off Wii owners. No promises have been made for Mario Kart...so I don't understand why they'd give us MK instead of SSBB.

I never expected Brawl to arrive here this year. It would have been nice if it would have - but I definitely wasn't expecting it.

Too many games coming out anyway in the next 6 months. I'll be HAPPY if a couple get delayed to Feb/March.

BTW - a '08 release doesn't actually mean much until we know more, i.e.:

    NA: 15/12/07 - SSBB, 01/01/08 - MK

   Europe/Aust: 15/12/07 - MK, 01/01/08 - SSBB

I really would rather we get a regular one good title per month. More chance I'll actually purchase it then, which is good for Nintendo as well (space out big titles, give them some time to sell on their own).

Honestly i don't care which one comes first. i'll buy both as long as both have online.

but since it's getting a habit to sc** Europe (cf PS3 price cut, once again), i'm pretty sure Europe won't see a thing anyhow before all is release in Japan / US

This is one of the least believable rumors I've seen this year.

How come? Not to say this sound true, but usually bad rumors are blatenly obvious that they are false. So, what makes it so for this one?

nintendo... Even though i'd love to see Mario kart in 2007 for PAL areas! Let me give u a tip:

DO NOT! ~I repeat~ DO NOT! release Mario Kart in 2007!... Let Mario Kart lead Wii's path during 08's holiday season if u wanna stand a chance!... If u release Super smash bros: Brawl, Super mario Galaxy, Mario kart Wii and Metoid prime 3 in the same timespan... Something has got to suffer!... Spread the AAA games out!... Save one to counter FFXIII in Japan. Save another to counter MGS4 (that'd be March... Probably Super smash bros: Brawl for PAL territories, i guess )

And btw: Iff u rush the 4 AAA titles they will suffer in quality and quantity... So, a nice quote: 'Bad games will always be bad games, delayed game will eventually be good' ~Myamoto~

And we wouldn't want a Mario game that got an average of 'only' 8.5 in this row of 'perfect' games, would we?! .

I think most of them are all top notch by now. Even Mario Kart Wii. It has probobly been under raps for a while. But, watch it get pushed back.

Today i saw a video from GT... where they show the Top 10 most anticipated games of E3... if you watch it closely you will see a Mario Kart Screen before the 10th game... also... if this is true... it confirms what someone post a couple of months ago, where he stated that he attended to the Nintendo Meeting where they showed a lot of new games... and apparently a new zelda...

@Starcraft: Looks like you assume, that the 4 games are the only big games that Nintendo has. Zelda for Wii is coming sometime in the future, i believe that Kid Icarus makes a comeback, another Pikmin, Donkey Kong, Wario (not minigame collection), something new for Luigi, and some new franchises.

Ei Kiinasti.

Eikä Japanisti.

Vaan pannaan jalalla koreasti.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

Why save the AAA titles if they are ready to go?
Rather than continue to suffer the lack of games from the launch frame, pumping out many AAA titles only increase the popularity, not less.

I would like to see a new Luigi Mansion released.

One reason that Nintendo may be spreading out these games over different regions is because of the online component. I think that they may have trouble if they released an Online Enabled SSBB (or Mario Kart) worldwide at Christmas for example, and 2 million or so new Wii owners start hitting the game servers. This way Nintendo could bring servers online as demand grows.
