I've never played an Enix game, but I do know that Square made KH1 as their final independent game. I found the story in #1 to be vastly superior to the second an CoM, so yes.



Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

I agree completely. Kingdom Hearts is a bad game. Kingdom Hearts II is a fantastic one and better than KH1 in every possible way except in the opening theme

lol, Soriku, you actually played Einhander? I'm surprised. o_o

And I agree... The only good games Enix made were E.V.O., Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma if you want my opinion. Valkyrie Profile doesn't interest me at all (actually, it's tri-ace that created the series)!

Squaresoft, on the other side, made the best RPG classics ever. Xenogears? Chrono Trigger? Final Fantasy X? Final Fantasy VII (brought FMVs to the RPG world)? Super Mario RPG? Kingdom Hearts (yes, TEH original)? etc.

Now, all SE can do is milk their series, especially Final Fantasy VII. God... >_>

Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

My thoughts on KH1:

1. Sora's lines make me want to turn my console off.
2. Sora's voice makes me want to turn my console off.
3. I almost quit when I got to the Tarzanl level (very early in the game).
4. Terrible fighting system, I'd rather button mash than use it again.
5. Game shined during Hollow Bastion... and nowhere else.
6. Too much disney crap, not enough of your own stuff. It may have not been KH without disney, but without disney it would've been much less annoying.

Thoughs on KH2:
1. Sora is not annoying. Finally.
2. Disney characters are mostly "secondary". Thank god.
3. Fun combat system. Button mash if you wanna, I fight with finesse.
4. More mature - thank god.
5. A good artstyle. Great graphics... beautiful sky in Twilight Town.
6. Tron level.

ah, forgot! 1000 heartless battle.

I could go on. That won't stop KH2 being a 9 in my book, and KH1 a 5.5.

WRONG. Sakaguchi Directed FF7, also he was Executive producer of FF8 and FF6 which is quite a vital role. He was far less important on Chrono Trigger though playing only the role of supervisor
