Forums - Gaming - GamesRadar's Leipzig preliminary reviews.

Ouch Dead Rising. Bionic Commando is impressive.

This isn't the first negative Killzone 2 preview I've heard.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

The interesting thing (from my perspective) is whenever anyone questions how great Killzone 2 is going to be there is always (at least) one person who will say something like "Killzone has received nothing but amazingly positive previews from people who have played the game" and when a preview ends up negative we get "This site is the dumbest shit i have ever read on the entire internet and anybody who believes the nonsense they are saying deserves to die."

LOL,

SO LOL,

Not joking, ARE THEY STUPID ????????????????????????

From gamesradar website :

Motorstorm2 review :

Hmmm. Hmmm indeed. How much you're going to enjoy Motorstorm's sequel will depend entirely on how much you liked the original game. Because apart from the setting, very little seems to have changed at all. It's a gorgeous-looking game, make no mistake about that, but in terms of gameplay, expect nothing more than the same slick, simple, but sightly sluggish racing you played to death at the PS3's launch. Not a terrible experience, but certainly not an exciting one so far.

Score: 6

Motorstorm1 review :

In terms of 'next generation-ness' MotorStorm is everything we hoped for. It's something you genuinely couldn't see running on another console and something that actually makes dropping a couple of grand on an HD telly seem worthwhile. Our only concern is that it's a one trick pony. Once you're sick of random argy bargy off-roading there's very little avenue to grow any genuine skill. And with only eight tracks being re-used again and again at different times of day you will soon see it all. But forget about that for now - you will love it, and you will play it for hours. What more praise do you need?

Score: 9

or How to lose any credibility ?

And also, the Killzone2 review (5), or the Fallout3 review (10) ... this site just sucks lol

I have no problem with bad previews of Killzone2, it has many things wrong with it and things people could have a problem with.  But my problem is that he is a liar, if he had problems with this game then he would have problems with every single FPS game ever made on a console.  All modern shooting games follow the same style of gameplay, and the basic controls are the same in every single one.

if GamesRadar's handson is "evidence" then I guess I win since I have more ^^

I value GamesRadar's opionon more than I do those other sites. It is the same as me valuing Roger Ebert's opinion about movies more than other reviewers. If you value the opinion of those other sites more than GR, then KZ2's MP looks promising. If you value GR's opinion more than the opinions of the other sites, then KZ2's MP does not look so promising.

GR has no opinion, that bitch never even played the fucking game, he made up a bunch of fucking nonsense that is pure lies.

How is GR's opinion on the controls and the gameplay a lie? I thought it was understood that a review is someone's evaluation of something and that it is entirely subjective?

You do realize that people are generally (much) harsher on games released later in a generation than they're to launch (or near launch) games ...

@HappySqurriel,

COMPLETELY

I see your point. But still ...9/10 was too hight while 6/10 is too low.

do you really believe website will put gears of war a 6/10 because "it just a gfx update" ?
Come on, it is also a very good game that deserve more.

Just look at SC2 preview despite the minor change between Sc1 and SC2.

Its a lie because they never played the game.  I have watched every video of the game released so far, and in no video do any of the people have these problems with controls or with the game.  All shooter games follow a basic control set-up, so if you have a problem with one then every single shooter would get the same review, and this is not the case.
