On the cashback.live.com site, there has been a massive increase in the amount of cashbacks being given away.

For example, you can get a 20gb 360 for $232 from Zappos after a 22.5% cashback. Zappos has a pretty decent selection of games as well and free air shipping.

There are other deals too. For example 45% Footlocker/Eastbay, Barnes & Noble 15%, Backcountry 30% and many others.

I'm kind of shocked they can give these kind of discounts out and make any kind of money.

I regret waiting to, because I ended up getting a new Elite for $300 when I could have went lower. But alas my friend is buying my refurb and im getting a new system and HD. Works for me.

Cause that crap didn't work for me.

Basically you use buy it now on any items after searching through live.com. You have to be on Live search when searching for the item AND buying it. At the buyitnow/check out page on the bottom right corner it will tell you how much you save

The Good

1) You can save a lot of money.

2) Live search is integrated with eBay so It's easy to use.

3) No fees when you receive the money through Paypal from MS

The Bad

1) You have to wait 60 days to get your money back.

2) You have to use Paypal and Buy It now! auctions only

The Ultra Ugly

1) ... 2 days to process+ 60 days + 14 day wait period for cash back = 76 days before you get your cash back.

I got my Elite for $300 so I'm happy, that is after I wait almost three months for the cash back.
