Even though I have not seen a whole lot of this game, I have high hopes for it. Heh, kinda like my high hopes for Sadness.

The graphics are probably more a question of priority. Which platform is this game primarily designed for. Were it for the PC then it would be obvious that the 360 graphics would be a step down, but if the real focus is getting the absolute most out of the 360 with the PC playing second fiddle. Well there is no rule that says you have to make a PC game look better then a console game. Especially considering the game looks wonderful all ready.

What seems to be very ironic about this debate is that it seems to be a slower paced game, and that it will also focus heavily on the dark. So even if the game runs at a higher frame rate on the PC chances are most of will probably not notice.

I would not hold my breath on that claim.

I get well over 30 fps in BioShock on my PC, and I run the game at 2560x1600. I am sure Bioshock for the PS3 will not be higher then 1200x720 (if even that).

There is no way it will look better on my Ps3 then it does on my PC.

I am glad that its coming in 2009 would have been missed with all the Christmas hub bub. I am going to be watching for this one

That original article was based off a developer interview. The journalist 'Wesley Yin-Poole' hadn't even gotten any hands-on time with the title yet.

[After some hands-on time] IGN are reporting that that the PS3 version features improved visuals, with cleaner high resolution textures for every facet of the game. They also say the water effects look much slicker.

I agree however, that there is no evidence to suggest that the visuals match a maxed out PC.

Earlier, he claimed that all Tales of Vesperia, LO, and ES were all 7-7.5 games, depsite the obvious fact that he couldn't possibly have ever played Vesperia, and that the game so far has above an 8 on gamerankings, and none of those games has ever dipped below 75%.
