Forums - General - will we be all "fat" in teh future ?

That part in Wall-e really has makes me wonder if it's true..do you think all of us will be "fat" in the future?

In the future we don't have to worry about diseases like Diabetes or conditions like High blood pressure and we don't have to walk anymore... we'll all have wheel chair type vehicles to move us around... so being fat won't be a problem anymore in the future...

do you think this will happen in the future?

From what I've seen of Mass Effect, citizens of the future are portrayed as thin, muscular overlords. That might be a more accurate representation of the future than Wall-E, or it might not be. I think that resources will be more spread out over the world, so it's unlikely that there will be a future of a select group of overly-lucky few. Wall-E was, in itself, an extreme exaggeration of western culture that has no basis in reality.
