Wait, so Brawl and Kart aren't fun anymore and aren't still selling like hotcakes to Wii owners new and old to become the best selling games of the year?

Should I throw out all my awesome games and bitch and moan until they announce something I like?

Yes. That's the way the world works, ain't it?

remember im not complaining people, im just saying thats its making quite a lot of people unhappy

Actually, usually the only people I see complaining about this are people that don't own a Wii or people that are unhappy in the first place...

No Wii Music and Wii Sports Resort do not count as core games . The jury is still out for Animal Crossing, personally I think this is more a game of the new casual Wii already available on GC.

Wario Land is a casual game?

I don't think so...

btw This is something casual or not I hate more than anything^^

wii music and wii sports resort dont count as they are casual titles, pikmin doesnt count a sit could be a 2010 title for all we know and AC only half counts as its a bridge title. from the demands i have seen people want new IPs as well as more 'harcore' titles like starfox and F-zero. im sure people will get these titles but it may not be for years

In the past Nintendo was able to release 16 (or more) Gamecube games in a given year and since then they have added a couple of development teams to their stable. From what we have seen, several of Nintendo's developers have not released a Wii game in almost 2 years so it is likely that they have games which were either delayed (to improve quality), are nearly completed, or have been pushed off to be released when Nintendo decides that it is strategically and financially best for them.

All in all it is possible that Nintendo has 20 (or more) Wii games that could be released in 2009 if they decided to, and I'm fairly certain that many of these games may be in fairly major "Core" franchises that people really desire (like Zelda, Pikmin, Kid Icarus, etc.)

I like how when talking about the Wii every title always manages to "not count"

Since it's release, you could always see on gaming boards some "There's no good games coming after Galaxy/Brawl/Mario Kart/...". At the same time, I've never bought that many games on a console so early on a console life as I have with the Wii (although it's partly due to me now having a decent job and being able to buy whatever I like). I already have too many games to play and not enough time. I really don't understand how some people manage not find games to play on the Wii, or on other current consoles, handhelds, PC, older consoles... Are these people really "hardcore gamers" ?

And there are plenty of games coming, first party or third party, "core" or "casual", whatever. I don't get why some people can't see that and always have to panic with every annoucements or lack of annoucements.

There is enough third party to keep me busy. From NIntendo i only care about Disaster right now
