I agree with Kojima.. MGS4 should be on PC. The mods would be amazing.

Since when have developers made decisions like this?
Not saying wether or not MGS4 is getting ported, but it's not like Kojima has any say in it. If Konami went behind his back and got another team to do the port, then it wouldn't be the first time it happens in the industry.

Yep. If it does get ported he won't have anything to do with it. He is wrong about the optimization though.... the 360 runs PS3 optimized code VERY well.
Who knows maybe if they try and strangle more money out of the consumer with a sustinance addition or whatever.

Confirmed: Kojima cares about games and is annoyed at gamers.
People need to stop twisting his words and take them for what they are. If you really want to twist his words then he might as well have said, "MGS4 would have been better off on the PC." But I don't want to twist his words. All we need to know is that he wants games to be respected irrespective of hardware.
Can you see now that even Kojima is anti-fanboy? Can you?

Yeah but using that logic EVERY game should be on PC.
Which... I really have no counter arguement too... every game should be on PC.
Mods rule. They're free exentinsions to games you want to play more of but have played to death. They expanded my Civilization 2 play for nearly a year.
Mods can even make bad games good sometimes.

Wait, didn't the best PS1 RPGs have 3-4 discs? What's so hard about changing discs? I'll never understand this argument. o_o |
Better to change 3 to 4 CD instead of 1000 cartridges. Better to have one Blu-ray over 3 to 4 DVD's. Obviously the latter isn't as bad as the former, but the principle still stands that if you have a better choice, take it. And that's the big picture.
Hackers are poor nerds who don't wash.

Yes, it could be done. But it's not like the 360 can run good PS3 optimised code just as well as the PS3 can, but the code can certainly run faster than code developed using Microsoft proposed practices (which poses a great hurdle for 360 to PS3 porting). But it could be that Konami used more Cell resources than the 360 has CPU time to spare, not having the storage space of Blu-Ray disc and not having a default harddrive I imagine would probably lead to the more profound sacrifices.
The coding techniques required to get the most out of the 360 are the same as needed on the PS3, but yields smaller gains on the 360 in comparison.

Exactly, otherwise MGS4 would've been multiplat.
