Forums - Microsoft - My Xbox 360 replaced my gaming PC and PS3 in 6 months.

i have all 3 consoles too, for me the 360 is normally in the top 2, depends though, at the moment its 360>PS3>Wii for me, but it changes almost daily!

My PS3 would be more important to me if I didn't get so deeply into the Xbox 360 JRPGs. The fact that the Wii gets all the interesting "niche" Western/Japanese games like Fatal Frame IV/Mad World makes it the PS2X2 if you wanna go by Final Fantasy naming jargon.

The Wii is to my Xbox 360 what my PS2 was to my gaming PC last generation. The second system, but its still very important for my gaming.

I'm still a PC guy, with WoW being the major draw for me on the PC, but there's other stuff like Sins of a Solar Empire for example. I've actually looked into the next 4-5 months of gaming, and I'm somewhat split...I just finished DMC4 and I'm working on Lost Odessey, but I've got Too Human to finish and the slew of 360 games might tip me until WOTLK comes in November...then it's back to my PC.

Op is posting in the Microsoft discussion forum so I'm not sure how you could count this as a troll. He's entitled to his opinion, just as you are to yours.

I will not mention the PS3 however at all (outside of that) when I say that I totally agree, my 360 has eaten all of my gaming time since I purchased it. I think I dropped 100+ hours into Oblivion and that is just sad.

I haven't played Blue Dragon (reviews were tepid) but may pick it up as I think it is platinum now. Not picking up Tales? Reviews I have seen have been really positive (ign, 1up) and IU is a week away still... Clearly reviews aren't everything but I don't have the time to play all the games I want to, so try to use reviews from credible sources to screen some games I'm interested in.

LO, was great too. I thought I'd never relate to Kaim as he is extremely feminine, but it didn't take long for me to see past that and enjoy the ride. If you did many of the side missions though, the final boss was, well to me at least, very easy.

Blue Dragon is a little "Slow" and quite easy (Read too easy). Its great to pick up and play for 30 minutes when you have the time. Its actually not a great game but I find the characters and the "Dragons" to be quite charming but a lot of people would find them annoying.

I live in PAL so I cant get Tales of Vesperia! Its not coming out here until next year. Thanks New Zealand.

Yea Lost Odyssey was an awesome game, those side quests in the end like Sarahs house unbalanced the rest of the game because the items were too awesome. Once I had my party resisting several different elements it made the magic using enemies on the final level a walkover. But I found the story to be really interesting and I hunted down those "thousand years of dreams" events as much as I could. I even got a walkthrough to help me find them all. It took me 100 hours, but looking back I felt that every hour spent was justified.

indeed 360 is first in RPGs because it seems to be the faveorite console of square enix. but the others could catch up. PS3 is getting titles like white knight tales whilst the wii is also getting JRPGs with at least 2 tales games, Arc rise fantasia and monster hunter 3

I could never get into Sins, I tried the demo but it just never felt alive to me like a lot of the other space strategy games like Homeworld, MOO 1,2 and yes 3 and a few others.

The thing is, I have a media PC attached to my 53" TV @ mesoteto, scarier than a 42" when you're sitting 4 feet away. So I can always play strategy games on that PC as it gets my cast off hardware from the main gaming PC, so its actually reasonably quick. So while my gaming PC isn't getting much love the Media PC is seeing more game time for games like strategy games which look IMO amazing on a 53" LCD.

The Xbox 360 is seductive!
