I will not mention the PS3 however at all (outside of that) when I say that I totally agree, my 360 has eaten all of my gaming time since I purchased it. I think I dropped 100+ hours into Oblivion and that is just sad. I haven't played Blue Dragon (reviews were tepid) but may pick it up as I think it is platinum now. Not picking up Tales? Reviews I have seen have been really positive (ign, 1up) and IU is a week away still... Clearly reviews aren't everything but I don't have the time to play all the games I want to, so try to use reviews from credible sources to screen some games I'm interested in. LO, was great too. I thought I'd never relate to Kaim as he is extremely feminine, but it didn't take long for me to see past that and enjoy the ride. If you did many of the side missions though, the final boss was, well to me at least, very easy. |
Blue Dragon is a little "Slow" and quite easy (Read too easy). Its great to pick up and play for 30 minutes when you have the time. Its actually not a great game but I find the characters and the "Dragons" to be quite charming but a lot of people would find them annoying.
I live in PAL so I cant get Tales of Vesperia! Its not coming out here until next year. Thanks New Zealand.
Yea Lost Odyssey was an awesome game, those side quests in the end like Sarahs house unbalanced the rest of the game because the items were too awesome. Once I had my party resisting several different elements it made the magic using enemies on the final level a walkover. But I found the story to be really interesting and I hunted down those "thousand years of dreams" events as much as I could. I even got a walkthrough to help me find them all. It took me 100 hours, but looking back I felt that every hour spent was justified.
Tease.
