I've finally cancelled my World of Warcraft account, but to what end?
My e-bay schemes have been all for naught, as I have decided that there will be no way to afford the upcoming gaming list, even with my earnings on that particular website, and I refuse to devote so much GP towards my favorite hobby this holiday season, after a year of already heavy spending, including 2 HD televisions, and a Xbox 360.
Instead, I have accepted my fate as a marketing statistic, when I saw a deal for the mighty pirate Gamefly and his scourge of the HD era, game rentals. $8.96 for the first month, he says. I was not swayed, until I picked up his gift, the mighty runeblade Frostmourne.

If only this gift weren't so excellently wrapped in a packaged labled: Battlefield: Bad Company
I have since slain my father and made a wraith of the Lady Sylvannas. Ah the blood soaked tyranny, and the sheer gleeful terror I feel when I realize I can rent Too Human without having to commit to it!
Here, a list of my misdeeds for all to gaze upon:

Notably absent is the sirenesque query Gears of War 2. I have special plans for that prey. I shall take my time with her. She will be worth the full $59.99 that oft interrs a feeling of cognitive dissonance, when I paid it at the behest of lesser titles.
Another exists. Fresh and preordered. Tales of Vesperia. The last hurra. A more worthy title, surely doesn't exist to be worth a mere dollar an hour, and has "if I was stuck on a desert island" type replayability.
In case you are tired of my LARP(and believe me, I'm acting it out live, with my Frostmourne replica), then lets discuss specifics shall we?
I've dropped WoW. For the same price, I am able to buy gamefly. One rental at a time, can keep it as long as I want. I've always wanted to play Bad Company single player, and I feel that game is the perfect rental. Ace Combat 6 is a backup. I shall clear my queue once Infinite Undiscovery approaches. I plan on paying full price for ToV and GeoW2, thus they are not on the list.
With so many games coming out, I feel that this is the best option for me right now. I have problems affording games new, and I could likely play through that entire list in a few months, while a years worth of gamefly is roughly 175 dollars, easily spread out with less of an immediate chunk forced from my pocket. Less than 3 games worth of actual value, assuming you buy new. 60x3=180+tax
So, what say you? Is renting a stain upon the industry? Am I evil? Are you? Is this better than buying my games off Ebay, or worse? Gamefly is advertised often on XboxLive, thus it appears that Microsoft supports the concept.
Is gamefly somehow a poor service, and if so, is there a better one? Would you consider this service, why or why not, and at what price would you consider a game rental service worth it? Should I cancel the service, or revel in my new found guilt? Is my queue satisfactory? Are there major games I have left out? If so, what? What are your thoughts, feelings, fears, and perceptions that come along with this revelation? Confide in me. Confide in me!
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.
