Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo E3 Predictions...

TechmoBowl said:
Possible:

1. More info about Super Mario Galaxy

2. Memory expansion of some type

3. Wii Gun Controller / Duck Hunt

Long Shots:

1. New Color for Console - The Wii is still selling really good. They'll most likely introduce colors next year when demand starts to soften and want to boost sales.

2. Donkey Kong

3. Kirby

4. Starfox

5. Starwars

And just to mess with the Sony fanboys:

1. Final Fantasy

There's already a Final Fantasy game coming to the Wii this fall. If Square announces anything new for the Wii, I'd expect it to be Kingdom Hearts 3.

As far as announcements from Nintendo, I expect Nintendo to be Nintendo and announce alot of 1st Party titles that will go on to rake in bookoos of cash.

Around the Network

I expect Super Mario in September and Smash Bros. in November or switch 'em up.

They will be 2 months apart.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

I expect a short Zelda trailer that gives no hint whatsoever of what the game will be like. Oh, and the most action-packed Metroid trailer to draw attention away from Halo (which we all know is impossible).

Possibly. I'm not betting on it, but I won't bet against it either.

Yes

I'm doubting it.

I thought it was already announced... well, either way something will be there, but not a whole lot.

No

Nintendo makes Kid Icarus official (I hope) and more.

You do not have the right to never be offended.

1. Will there be multiple new colors for Wiimotes shown at E3?
Nah, they`ll keep that till E for All.

2. Will Mario Kart Wii be announced?
Of course. Like the DS game, it will feature online ( greatly improved though) and many 32 stages.

3. Will a Wii hard drive be announced at E3?
Who knows. Maybe in the future after Wii-Ware and NeoGeo games.

4. Will the next Zelda game be announed at E3?
No way. Hinted, yes, but not announced.

5. Will the Nintendo DS get a new revision?
Nope

6. Will there be any other surprises from Nintendo at E3?
Many, 1st party surprises for Wii, 3rd party more for DS.

1. No, but surely at the TGS or sometime between E3 and TGS.

2. No, until TGS.

3. It's possible, but I think it's unlikely.

4. I hope so, yes.

5. Not this year.

6. Expect a universe of surprises from them.

^^^

It's too bad that the Big N hardly ever goes to TGS

1. Colours - no. Only matters once Wii stops selling out.

2. Mario Kart - Yes

3. Hard drive - No

4. Zelda - maybe. Probably see some form of teaser to drive the crowd wild.

5. New DS - this is the real question. No idea - probably not (still selling too strongly).

6. Lots of new games announced for both Wii & DS. Lots of "Olympics" footage, and other games they have been quiet about. Also some new Wii Channels.

Expect to have a channel launch right after/during E3 as a "bonus" (probably the long due Mii competition channel).

...

For a big surprise (5% likely?) - new handheld launched (GC portable, runs GC discs) to directly compete with PSP.

No new colors, but they do announce new features about Wii and DS connectivity.

Kid Icarus announcement is propable, Punch-Out for Wii is quite possible. And they show a demo from Wii Motorsport.

They also announce Pikmin 3 with online multiplayer. It has co-op and vs. modes online.

@shams: DS is selling too good for Nintendo to launch new handheld, but i like to play with the thought that they sometime announce new handheld, which combines portability and home consoles.
