Microsoft at CES 2009 demos Halo Wars:

So, that picture is from CES 09, but the advert on the wall behind the console says now starting at $279.99?

I'm calling bullshit on that picture.

Not sure about that picture, but the end result remains the same:

"CES09: Halo Wars + Red Ring = Fail

Gamertag Radio reports "So were checking out the gameplay of Halo Wars. Now, I'm not a RTS fan but the chance to control all aspects of the field was pretty interesting.

Then, as the title of this article says, the inevitable happens. Yes, Microsoft's brand new addition to the Halo series suffers from another RROD error. From what I understand, since its only a 2 light error, it is most likely an overheating issue. Yes, its a Dev kit and the display was probably not allowing enough cool air to pass through to the console, but c'mon MS! This is the next step for your flagship title at CES???""

It's not even the same thing, you just posted the first picture of a demo 360 with a red ring you could find to cast the 360 in a negative light, and now you're backpedaling to make it look like you weren't trolling.  2 red lights =/= RRoD.

Grow up, it's not like I have taken that picture. It's from here:

@ Mikeb

If you can't handle getting called out for posting fictitious crap then post the source when you post the picture. That way you would be off the hook, and any negativity redirected toward them.

BTW, one of the guys interviewed bought his 360 last November and already 4 games were scratched.

Did you fall out with Sony when they failed for a very long time to accept that the PS2 had issues... actually I'm not sure they ever did acknowledge it?

Like I said before, I wasn't a console gamer back then. What has this to do with the 360?

@MikeB - Wow your buddy already has disc scratching with a new 360. Hum.. I thought they had already fixed that issue.

I can't wait till the xbox 720!

I think MS learned a valuable lessons this generation. I expect the Xbox 720 to be one of the most reliable consoles in gaming history with a 3 year warranty to boot.

You would buy Microsoft's next console at launch?  Myself, I would wait until I heard there were no RROD issues involved with it.

@gebx -

If the Next-Box doesn't have any huge design flaws I doubt M$ will tag on a 3yr warranty. It's more likely to be the classic 90Day or 1yr warranty.

Is it even legal for a 13 y/o to sue a company in the Netherlands?

Also, why is it that you only post news to attack MS, MikeB?

Why is it that FishyJoe only posts news that attacks Sony & the PS3?  Oh and the occasional OMG Wii thread.  Other than that you can find a PS3 attack news post from him at least once a day in most cases and hes a moderator which is even sadder.
