i really want to see the wii version of spore

me too...

but all of that aside..I think Spore is way more innovative and creative than LBP

LBP is just a map creator..ala Brawl...with more options (so not that much NEW gameplay...)

while Spore..is..a whole new level of gameplay...I really want to play it..

now..Mirror's Edge...THAT looks awesome!!! XD

sorry.. >_<

I disagree with LBP being a map editor such as SSBB.  A map editor assumes that all you can do is change the area where the game is played, you have no power of the rules or goals of the game.  This is untrue in the case of LBP, you have the power to make a miriad of goals, and thus making it a true game editor, and not simply a map editor.

The rest I'm fine with, I agree that Spore is more innovative, but don't downplay LBP either.

Indeed. LBP has trigger editing and a bunch of options brawl doesn't have in general. One couldn't remake links castle in SSBB or have monsters fall when a character walks somehwere for example...

If any wii game was like it, it was the affore mentioned blastworks which offers just about everything LBP except online multiplayer... and PSeye interaction.

The 4 player co-op only being local i believe.

That and it's a shooter though.  It's also got the advantage of being a little bit more wide open however.  In that you can edit your shin in anyway you want instead of just adding costumes.

I was unaware that Blastworks had trigger editing, I only read about the ability to create stages. If it's true that you could create a game within Blastworks then I personally have no issue with the two being paralleled. I don't see why LBP being in a genre with another game should ruffle people's feathers.

It has trigger editing... but Trigger editing is just a part of creating stages.

It's like LBP in basically, you could remake anything that comes with it... it's even got things such as hit box detection which to my knowledge isnt included in LBP... but then again probably is at least in some degree to allow you to designate background items from foreground ones.

I'd put them in the same "Creation" genre.

Spore...

I think that forevercloud3000's statements have been adequately addressed, so:

Spore WILL outsell LittleBigPlanet. Due to a MUCH larger gaming audience on the PC. (Spore Wii vs LittleBigPlanet is a more fair sales competition).
lol wut

It's unfair to compare games for PC vs. PS3 due to audience size, but not Wii vs. PS3?

My advice to fanboys: Brag about stuff that's true, not about stuff that's false. Predict stuff that's likely, not stuff that's unlikely. You will be happier, and we will be happier.
