Yeah riight like thoose scores are reliable, it´s on the same list we have GTA with high scores at 90+ and we all know how flawless that game is, no glitches and other problems with that game so it deservs the perfect scores it go.

Well, let's not forget the backlog of games that are already available. For example I was waiting on reviews of the new Madden All Play. When Gamespot gave it the lowest score of anybody on Metacritic and did their usual combination of belittling or back hand complementing everything about the game; everything they disliked was exactly what I was hoping for in the game.

I have found Gamespot has become so biased that just buying everything they hate usually works pretty well. So waiting for them to get around to panning other games that I'll rush out to buy - elsewhere - will bridge any little gap in releases.

At best all I can imagine is the end of >1:1 sales for the Wii:PS/360. I certainly wouldn't call that the end of Nintendomination.

Well, you see, the fact that GTA IV is one of the two best games to come out so far during this console generation -- the other being Metal Gear Solid 4 (The only two games since the Gameboy Color, Dreamcast, N64 days to receive 10's at IGN) accounts for GTA4's high scores. Compared to the other games (with the exception of MGS4) that have been released during this console generation, GTA IV is very deserving of its Metacritic score of 98.

i dont think many people read my whole post, especially YOU Grampy

im a freckin nintendo fanboy and love the wii, this thread isnt about me hating on it.

i just think that wii game will not dominate as they have been doing for the past couple of months as the HD systems start to get big titles like gears of war 2 and resitance 2. yes wii games will have nice sales but most wont match those steller titles
the wiis steller titles such as conduit, madworld, monster hunter 3 and spyborgs wont be out until 2009

I loved Gta and still do it´s a great game and one of the best this year but of you seriously think it desevs any of thoose scores with glitches and problems it has you are seriously deep in fanboymode and in need to be rescued, I hope someone around you can help you with that if not may you rest in peace my friend.
