Well, you see, the fact that GTA IV is one of the two best games to come out so far during this console generation -- the other being Metal Gear Solid 4 (The only two games since the Gameboy Color, Dreamcast, N64 days to receive 10's at IGN) accounts for GTA4's high scores. Compared to the other games (with the exception of MGS4) that have been released during this console generation, GTA IV is very deserving of its Metacritic score of 98.
"Yeah riight like thoose scores are reliable, it´s on the same list we have GTA with high scores at 90+ and we all know how flawless that game is, no glitches and other problems with that game so it deservs the perfect scores it go."
