Forums - General - John McCain is a Pill Popper?

I found this pretty interesting. While I'm Canadian, I think both of the US presidential candidates are no good. Mcain's views are straight up trash. Every aspect of his views are terrible. He is going to ruin your markets and make more war. Obama on the other hand, seems to have a bit of an attitude and isn't the best public speaker in the world. But a pill Popper is a little over bored don't you think?

You're a pill popper.

Your reasons for why Obama is a bad candidate are a bit...skewed. They don't make much sense and they're not really a reason to hate a candidate (especially since Obama is a fantastic public speaker when he has lines to read off of). And he has an attitude? What? Do I even need to comment on that?

I know that we're the most important nation in the world and that our elections are usually far more interesting than those of other nations, but don't judge if you don't understand.

Oh, and how much of a worry is it that a man that's over 70 years old needs to take sleep medicine? You don't think that he has doctors and medical professionals telling him how many doses he should take or what he should avoid taking with it? I would worry if it was something like ecstasy, but this isn't really interesting in the slightest.

The Democrats should completely lambaste John McCain for being a 71 year old man taking sleeping pills (a commonly used medication).

Does that mean he shits out pills?

^_^

Everything the OP said about John McCain was fundamentally flawed.

I think I will just try to stay out of this one.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Its just my view. I feel Obama has an attitude. If I could vote, I would still pick Obama over mccain simply because mccain's views are terrible. I respect elders and all, but I don't think a 71 year old is fit enough to run a country as... prominent? as America. Whatever happens to you people its going to affect the rest of the world. Positive or negative. I feel mccain is going to be a second bush, hes not environmental friendly, hes for war, his views do not make any sence. He has had a divorce and seems to be set in his ways and close minded. Plus he offered his wife as a bikers beauty pageant contestant... nuff said right there.. that and government really needs fresh blood.

@edge

Have you ever taken economics? Free market and free trade little government is best for economies thats what McCain wants and Obama wants to raise taxes on busniess and place more restrictions and regulations which hinders economic growth. Free market isnt equitable but its the best method for economic growth and Obama is for stagnation growth like Euro area, cant break 3% growth in last 20 years.

Ronald Reagan was elected into office around the age of 70, and like him or hate him, he did some fantastic things for the economy. As for your views on McCain, I agree (slightly). I would agree with you that he's a bad candidate for the job, but I disagree that something as minor as taking sleeping pills is much of an issue.
