I saw on Xplay last nite that this game is going to have bots for multiplayer to help "fill up" the rooms faster. LOL. Sounds like they don't plan on selling to many games. That is the thing with Sony there is too small of an online community. That is why I buy all of my online games on the 360. Not enough people playing online on the PS3 (yet).

 Theres far more of a demand for shooters on the 360 than PS3. We will see form the sales this year how the PS3 will do when they enter the arena. The controller on the 360 is much better for shooters as well.

there are more than 10 million psn accounts.. actually there are more online accounts on the ps3 comapired to the xbox360 if we calculate it by how many consoles are sold.

Bots is a good idea. Prevents the start of the game from being boring. It's like skirmish ;)

You know, since learning how to play with bots or playing with others against bots in a private game could never happen. Heck, Warhawk was criticized big time because it didn't have any bots.

Whatever, I'm not going to go much farther since this thread is a slap fight anyway.

In Gears 2 you will be able to control whether you want bots in the game or not. If i'm just playing multiplayer without online with a couple friends it could add to the difficulty.

Dunno I just think bots suck. If I wanted to play against bots I would play the single player version. Reason I play multi-player is just that it's multi-PLAYER not multi-bots.

And I have played many bot games, most recently Quake wars, can you say crapola.

Then find servers without bots. Steam games (or at least the ones from Valve), for example, have a bot filter displaying servers with bots so you can easily avoid them.
