STOP DERAILING.  There has been no new footage shown of Alan Wake since 2006.

The Uncharted pictures are clearly photoshopped.

In that gears screen, on the far left buy the guy, there is a hard line. It's the clipping plain of the smoke effect. There will be nothing like this in KZ2.

KZ2 will look better then Gears 2. I have no doubt in my mind. And Pavas, the PS3's CPU+GPU is capable of producing better visuals then the 360's CPU+GPU.

Why to cherry pick a subset of a system, and then say one is better then the other.

P.S. If I could only have one of these two games, it would be Gears 2. Gears 1 was just way to awesome to pass up on it's sequel. Luckily, I don't have to decide, I can get both :)

From those pics, Alan Wake looks to be about graphcially on par with Half life 2: Episode 2. Nothing we've seen the systems can't handle up to this, and certainly nothing to rave about.

KZ2 will be the best shooter on the PS3 no doubt and the best looking. Gears will be great on the 360, but the best part of the 360's shooters, is that it has two different types of shooters that aren't vying for FPS supremacy unlike the PS3 which is pumping out cookie cutter FPS games that are vying for supremacy on their own system. Most of the people who compare the games need to notice first and foremost that Gears 2 is a Third Person Shooter.

Those pics from Alan Wake were early build photos and videos. The graphics will be much better.
